Felis catus, also known as the domestic cat or house cat, is different than other felines. It is a much smaller species of the crepuscular mammal. For thousands of years, house cats have been a valued companion to humans for their ability to hunt vermin.
Diet
Cats can be picky eaters. Different from the majority of mammals, cats can willingly starve themselves for an indefinite period despite being given food, even a type of food that they usually eat.
